About


We are a regional group formed to facilitate the exchange of urban design ideas that promote a better world. We believed that the world is flat and aims to build a casual and fluid organization cutting across boundaries and containment although we are challenged by the present Digital Communication divide among many countries due to strategic security reasons. However, knowledge and information are crucial to societal progress and the betterment of human life. 

Our current project is to produce an eBook and launch it in early November 2022.

We are organized into different subgroups:

Tea Party - With Architectural Philosopher Tay Kheng Soon

  A new role, a redefinition, a reinvention, Kheng Soon , the architectural philosopher, will share with you his thoughts on Modern Asian Design Thinking.  Tay Kheng Soon, born in 1940, is a practicing architect and former adjunct professor at  National University of Singapore Architecture School. He was president of the  Singapore Institute of Architects from 1990-1993 and founding member and  chairman of SPUR (Singapore Planning and Urban Research) from 1970 to 1971. He graduated from the School of Architecture (present Singapore Polytechnic) in 1964 and is  currently undertaking fundamental design research about Rubanisation.  He is a public intellectual who held many visionary views on the built environment and urban planning.
